Congratulations to Elizabeth and Isabella!

We are pleased to award Elizabeth and Isabella 2024 Hearts in Action Scholarships! We wish them the best as they continue their educations.

In 2007, Community of Love Lutheran Church received a gift from the estate of two of their members, Charlie and Peg (C. A. P.) Middleton. From this gift the Hearts in Action Endowment Fund was formed.

Both Charlie and Peg were staunch believers in higher education.

When they bequeathed the endowment, their wishes were that the it be used, at least in part, to provide scholarships for local students studying for careers of service to the community. From 2009 - 2021, sixty-five C.A.P. scholarships have been awarded.
